Hypochlorous Acid mist is a versatile antibacterial solution designed for multiple uses. Originally formulated as a gentle face mist, it works equally well as a surface sanitizer or post-workout refresh when a full skincare routine isn't possible.
This powerful antimicrobial breaks down bacterial and viral cell walls without the harshness of bleach. At low concentrations, it calms inflammation, reduces acne-causing bacteria, and supports healing for sensitive skin, eczema, and post-procedure care. It's also ideal for cleaning minor cuts, scrapes, new piercings, and tattoos.
Unlike household bleach, hypochlorous acid has a pH close to human skin, won't burn healthy cells, and is completely non-corrosive. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as it naturally degrades into saltwater and water over time.
What It Does & How It Works
• Antimicrobial Power: It breaks down the outer cell walls of bacteria, viruses, and fungi,
killing microbes quickly without the harsh toxicity of bleach.
• Skin Care: Used in low concentrations (typically 0.005% to 0.02%), it calms inflammation,
reduces acne-causing bacteria, and supports healing for sensitive skin, eczema, and post-procedure care.
• Wound Care & Disinfection: It is widely used for cleaning minor cuts, scrapes, new piercings,
tattoos, and hard surfaces. Options like Zogics Hypochlorous Acid Ready-to-Use Surface
Disinfectant are also used for broader sanitization.
Safety & Storage Tips
• Gentle Nature: Unlike sodium hypochlorite (household bleach), HOCl has a pH close to human skin,
does not burn healthy cells, and is non-corrosive.
• Shelf Life: HOCl is relatively short-lived and degrades back into
saltwater and water when exposed to heat, air, or sunlight. So store in a cool dry place out of direct sun light.

How To Use
How to Use It in Your Skincare Routine
• Cleanse first: Wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat your skin completely dry with a clean towel.
• Mist evenly: Hold the bottle about 6 to 12 inches away from your face and spritz a light,
even layer over your skin. Avoid spraying directly into your eyes or mouth.
• Air dry: Let the mist dry naturally on your skin. Do not rinse it off or rub it in with your hands.
• Layer your products: Once it is completely dry, follow up with your serums, moisturizers, and sunscreen.
• Check the timing with strong actives:
If you use strong antioxidants like Vitamin C or retinoids, let the HOCl mist dry completely first.
Some experts suggest using Vitamin C in the morning and your
HOCl spray at night to prevent either product from losing potency.
• Don't overdo it: Using the mist 3 to 4 times a day or more can occasionally lead to dryness or
irritation for some skin types
